This is true both when things are in your favor and when things do go wrong. And both things will happen when you are making your living online, as well as in all other aspects of life. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that you remind yourself to observe your thoughts.
If you make your thought process conscious to yourself, you are free to accept or decline the way you think. You can consciously decide how you think, e.g., about setbacks. You are the master of your thoughts. Your thoughts can be changed. This means that if you always see your setbacks in a negative context, they will impact you negatively. It is your choice not to let them. Obstacles are great for your learning process. They are only a natural part of your way to financial freedom.
If you can see your thoughts from the “outside,” you will experience this as very liberating and a great help.

Of course, you must have a PC, or at least another device you can use to access the Internet. Also, of course, an Internet connection and a few other helpful things. But the absolutely most important asset is your time.
Time is limited, and when it’s gone, it never comes back. You can’t recreate it. You can create money; money does not disappear (even though it sometimes feels like that). You can always create more. Time, when spent, is gone forever. Money can be recreated. Money can be saved. Time is gone forever.
You must devote a substantial amount of time if your wish and goal is to make a living online. In this respect, it works just as it does when you make your living offline in a “normal” nine-to-five job. Then you also devote several hours to work every day.

Short answer: CONSISTENCY
Consistency is the secret to a great extent that decides your success. You already know this well, and you have experience being consistent. You went through school, and you most probably have committed to a job. You lined up every day and did what you had to do, even if you didn’t really want to. Indeed, being your own boss and deciding your own working hours is practical and nice, but that doesn’t mean that you can skip work or postpone it as you please. You have to commit to your online business as the business it is. Consistency is crucial. There is no free lunch. Make yourself a schedule.
